After all the hoopla about Target coming to Canada it seems to be a dud. I've never been in a colder, less welcoming atmosphere. There are no clerks in sight, just do it yourself checkout machines. The prices aren't great and it makes Walmart look like a high end store in comparison. I was in both stores this morning and may have seen one other person in Target, while Walmart was much busier and I got what I wanted for a better price there. I don't know anyone who shops at Target but maybe the younger generation likes it, otherwise it won't stay in business long. Too bad Zellers sold out; it was much better. |

I agree totally, even the choices they have is minimal and they don't carry the varitety of items that Zellers did. |

I agree that Target is a dud, also not welcomed here. I cannot fathom why we need two of their stores in Victoria. I did find the one Kingston was a bit busier but that was just before Christmas. |

So many expected the Target here to be like the ones in the States and price wise too Which wasn't in the mix anyway. The stuff they carry is mediocre I was in the Niagara Falls one once and true customer service is lacking Rather have Zellers or the old K Mart....I have no plans to go back... |
