All these posts about this great music between the 50s and 80s makes me realize just how much of life I have missed working/traveling and bringing up 3 kids mostly as a single parent. Of course there was a couple of marriages in there and the consequences of my bad choices. Don't care as the resulting kids, grand kids and great grands are just wonderful.

I listened to music sort of in-between it all, sad as I really like music and seems I missed a lot.

I was fortunate to be closely associated with the 70s music scene. At the time I was in the employ of the University and my job was to set up and run the sound and lighting for touring groups.
Names such as Lighthouse, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Gordon Lightfoot, Guy Lombardo and many others, to numerous to recount appeared then.
I will always think of the 70s as the most fun time of my life!

I agree with you Wildie as I too had some great times in the 70s. Loved the music, and we were always off to dances. I so often say I do not know how I got so old so fast, but I do not feel old. Just look it. laugh123

Take care,
