I like Vicar of Dibley and saw Butterflies - forget what it was about, but liked it. Was it the one with the book store?

Butterflies was a married woman with two teenage sons. Like Mary Hartman she decided she wanted to be more than a wife and a mother.
It starred Wendy Somebody and the guy who is Lionel ...

Oh Hell why guess when there is imdb:

Delightful show, as was Vicar of Dibley and Red Dwarf (which I am in the process of rewatching on Neflix Watch Instantly.)

I LOVED that show (Butterflies). It was Wendy Craig. I do not think it has ever been out on DVD,

BJ,

Butterflies IS available on DVD as Series 1 (one disc with 6 episodes) and Series 2 (2 discs presumably with 12 episodes.) It's actually available for rent from Netflix by mail although they list "long wait" for Series 1 which, with an old disc like that, means that it has gone missing or broken.

It's definitely on DVD. Amazon.Com lists it for sale.
