Does anyone know the Haydn MASS IN THE TIME OF WAR? We are seeing a big production at Carnegie Hall on Monday evening. It sound pretty zoftig. The thing I like most about masses is that I always know all the lyrics. Thank you Sister Mary Crematoria. |

Do you know the lyrics for the mass that consecrates a bishop? Having been in the choir we were there for over four hours. Most boring thing I ever attended, can't imagine why one would go a facsimile of one voluntarily? |

I was in the choir too, but we were never called upon to consecrate a bishop. My fave was something called the MISSA ORBIS FACTOR...loved to sing it. Edited by Trotsky, Jun 14 2014, 06:47 AM.

Our choir was pretty good, we did have Bob Goulet in it. |
