Yesterday I needed to stop into the dollar store for a couple of things. I walked down an aisle and could not believe what I was seeing.. They were ALREADY putting up the Halloween displays window decorations webs I was stunned. We are barely into August and still a far cry from the end of October. Seriously next week for sure it will be Christmas! 017 |

I went to Costco on Monday and was shocked to see all the snow parkas and snow suits on display. This small child was being squeezed into different ones and he was hollering. I don't blame him in this hot weather. |

They do this every year but just try to buy a decent summer dress or shoes. The stores are almost empty until the fall and winter stuff comes in and back to school begins. They had Christmas stuff for sale on the TV shopping channel. I had to get a dress for a wedding and my choices were too big or too small. I bought the too big one and took it in. Shoes are out of the question so old ones will have to do. |

Was just checking when our next yard waste collection is as we do not get it as often after mid July. It is this Friday, but I was shocked to then read: Christmas Tree Collection Jan 15, 2015 Now don't that just rock your boat. There goes the year. ohmy 03 Take care, Pat |

There should be laws. No Halloween stuff until mid October. No Christmas music in stores or elsewhere until dec. 24, and then for only 10 minutes. |
