Is there a magic formula to buying these? I invariably buy them too short or mostly too long and have to double bow them, really annoying. |

It's available at the link I posted above, or on ebay http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=shrink+tubing&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=1 |

Shrink wrap for electrical fittings is available at almost all hardware stores. For a more robust tip than fingernail polish use a quick drying epoxy. (But shrink wrap will be better.) But BEST will be buying proper length replacement laces. Edited by Trotsky, Sep 1 2014, 01:22 AM.

Hey Campy, Princess Auto has a good selection at reasonable prices. I got a nice multicoloured kit in a plastic box for $5 on sale.

I bought mine at a electronic specialty shop! I just walked in, picked out what I wanted, paid at the check out and left! You probably can buy this on the internet! |

Oh, you don't have a Princess Auto nearby. I'm lucky, 100 km is just the right distance. I would buy too much if it was closer. I have never used their online store. No fun if you can't touch the tools. |

Can't beat garage and yard sales for tools. Got some nice stuff this weekend. Forstner bits. Needle nose pliers. Screwdrivers. $5.00. |
