In 2010, Darek Fidyka was attacked and stabbed multiple times. The attacker severed his spine, rendering him paralyzed from the chest down, but now, thanks to a new and revolutionary procedure, Darek can walk again!

Progress! I read that the olfactory cells in the nose regenerate frequently, making them a good source for these cells. And they are the first cells in the body to age out.

My son is in going to a pain clinic here in Edmonton. He starts intense phiso the middle of Nov. He goes three/four hours per day for 3 days per week. He's trying this before going through another surgery. he had to quit the morphine as that stuff was lethal. He was falling asleep continually. I hope this is successful so he can get on with his life!

I wish him well.

The last 40 years after a busted vertebra have not been fun.

Alas, I feel that treatments for back pain have not advanced in 100 years.
