http://www.durgan.org/URL/?FZIYW 29 November 2014 Gruel Five grain gruel was made from oats,almonds, wheat, sorghum, and nixtamalized Indian Corn. Process was grind in blender with water, cook in double boiler for 1.5 to 2 hours. Store in containers and freeze for long term use. The cooked gruel will keep in the refrigerator for about ten days without spoiling. A bowl is used for daily breakfast.Picture depict the process. Posted Image |
