Just lovely! So lovely that I don't even mind that we have -7C with a 'feels like' factor of -14. |

How beautiful, I especially like the poppies. Do you ever grow sweetpeas? They used to be everywhere when I was a child, and one of my favourite flowers, now I haven't seen any for years. |

Sweet peas are very invasive; I have them in my garden but I am actually trying to rid myself of them. |

They grew on a trellis at my grandfathers and smelled so nice. I guess they knew how to not let them spread. |

Kahu: That is a very cherry garden. Did you lay the mosaic walk/patio yourself? |

I actually haven't finished it Erka ... I started it some years ago when our youngest got married and went overseas to work in the UK & the EU ... they did a couple of panels, because I thought they wouldn't come back. I've still got three squares to go and I'm planning on getting the two oldest grandsons to contribute their pattern and the youngest pair will have to share the third. It was planned to be a thyme lawn between the squares but that didn't work out ... so I've since alternated different annuals for summer flowering in that space. Since then I have other ideas of building a new screened section using the thinned ponga logs from the fernery. |

Beautiful. Those osteo daisies don't do that well for me. If the sun goes in they don't open. Anyway it's something to aspire to in spring. |
