Fibromyalgia is obviously no longer a problem because just like all arthritic illnesses it is cured on a weekly basis. cheering213 This latest "cause" sound particulary unlikely. Once upon a time there was also a disease called cancer but that gets cured every time the ACA runs its annual fund railing drive. food-smiley 010 |

There is no cure for fibromyalgia - I am involved in a study at the University. And it doesn't suddenly disappear or has anything to do with food a person eats. I have had Fibromyalgia since 1987 and still waiting for a cure. Only thing that has helped me is a medication called Cymbalta. Not covered by medicare or Pharmacare so have to pay out of my own pocket. Expensive as all get out but worth it as the relief I get is incredible. |

Toodles, Cymbalta is now available generically as duloxetine. On my Medicare Advantage formulary it is Tier 3 and costs $40/month. Also Tier 3 on Bob's plan and would cost $46 a month. Look into the generic version. Check your formulary...it may have been added recently. Since the patent ran out only in 2013 many manufacturers have gotten approval and look for prices to fall dramatically in the next year or two, likely below $20.
