In spite of private insurance, DH always ended up with enough out of pocket expenses to make an income tax claim. The price of test strips is very high. Eye drops are another huge expense.

Delphi, are you saying that the paper work is for the government?

We went from giving services to fit the needs of people to now having services that the people have to fit into.

Social service delivery has become ludicrous when government put their hands in it and worked hard to made sure that it was not delivered to as many as they possibly could come up with. After doing this they then said there was no need for the service.

Money above the needs of people again with trumped up excuses. Have worked seeing this all of my life and it is getting worse instead of improving.
