There are a couple, presumably knockoffs and not 1925 originals by Breuer, on auction at Housing Works, NYC.
Are these chairs comfortable? Do they have lumbar support?

I have never sat in one but they certainly are gorgeous.

They are in a window display and I suppose I will have to make a pest out of myself and make sure I can sit in one before I place a bid.

Have you ever sat in one?

Wow, they are gorgeous. Hope you get a chance to try one out and let us know. I also like that they don't take up too much room.

Sh*t...
Went over and the guy said he is not allowed into the window display so we have to win the bid before we can sit in it. He said that we could turn it down at the time of pickup and payment but I don't quite trust that method.

Seems stupid to me. Who would want to buy a chair without sitting in it?

The auction runs through June 1 so maybe I can find a similar chair at Macy's or Bloomindale's and see how my tushy (and lumbar spine) take to it.
