Would you knowingly ingest this? This is the material removed from my slurrying method of canning.

It is in a much more attractive form when one eats the whole tomato or whatever is represented there.

It probably is a case to some degree of what you don't see wont concern you. I don't think that gross cellulose material should be ingested by humans. All it does is upset the digestive track, which is a very complex delicate system.

You do need the roughage for other parts of your delicate gut!

Never have I seen humans eating grass. Roughage comes from small particles not the coarse cellulose, which many associate with being necessary. I consider this view to be erroneous.
