You are correct that it is between Sooke and Jordan River, Trotsky. A very small place, to my knowledge still unincorporated.
There is also a small resort out there called Point No Point. I have been reading some positive reviews of restaurant lately. Many, many years ago I stayed there with my then husband and second daughter, must be nearly 30 years ago, loved the views, the beach and the seclusion but not the food. Went a couple of times since, perhaps over ten years ago or so, still not satisfied with food. Perhaps it is time to try one more time.
Sometimes it it the place that people flock to, like the far too hyped Sooke Harbour House.
It is my hope that Shirley Delicious will not disappoint - did not make it there on the weekend so perhaps when my eldest D and grandson are here.

Olive Oil: My daughter got a new oven and it is steam clean as well. It requires a pan of water in the oven before turned onto clean.

Pepper Jelly
I just paid $2.49 CAN for a jar of the same size and the same products, in the grocery store and not on sale.

That is a really expensive price.
