Interesting post on an RV forum:
This appears to be a good article on DMSO. The fact that it is dangerous if mishandled and you can get it virtually free has kept it from being sold in the U.S. As a drug. I tried it for months long ago. It just does NOT work on humans. Whether it works for horses I cannot say Aye or NEIGH. Side effects for me. 1. When applied it a gives a strong taste of garlic to the mouth 2. After several days application to the same place, a contact dermatitis often results. Both of these could be tolerated easily, but NOT WITHOUT POSITIVE RESULTS, and I really got none. <I rate it as a well intentioned SCAM.> |
