I've been lusting after one of these for awhile, and our son has promised to build us one next spring or summer at our place in eastern Ontario. It will be beehive shaped and able to handle anything from pizza to ribs, evidently. Should provide endless entertainment. https://www.google.ca/search?q=images+wood+fired+ovens&authuser=0&biw=1138&bih=558&site=webhp&tbm=isch&imgil=3lt29nCaAazYmM%253A%253BTgXGY48JpJqi9M%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fkgi.org%25252Fblogs%25252Froger-doiron%25252Fbuild-your-own-wood-fired-pizza-oven&source=iu&pf=m&fir=3lt29nCaAazYmM%253A%252CTgXGY48JpJqi9M%252C_&usg=__BGgyHKYMXbBLR0SN4YV4b53Lx5o%3D&ved=0ahUKEwjR6_W00LvJAhWHkI4KHZiTACwQyjcIJA&ei=IBReVtHbIIehugSYp4LgAg#imgrc=3lt29nCaAazYmM%3A&usg=__BGgyHKYMXbBLR0SN4YV4b53Lx5o%3D Edited by heatseeker, Dec 2 2015, 10:42 AM.

go Indian and do a tandoor? Ha ha. Some crooked outfit in Toronto was just busted for selling uncertified tandoor ovens to hundreds of individuals and restaurants, with faked certification labels. http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2015/11/28/sale-of-unsafe-tandoori-ovens-and-burners-leads-to-charges-for-toronto-retailer.html Edited by heatseeker, Dec 2 2015, 12:27 PM.

I have often wondered how Tandoor ovens were vented or NOT. But I guess like all gas stoves and ovens, there is simply no pressing need to vent them. But then a tandoor is likely to be running in a commercial Indian kitchen for 12 hours or more at a time so maybe a different concern.
