Apparently we can’t stop tweeting it and looking at it. Its allure is surpassed only by our desire to figure out what the hell is going on.

Is he saying, “You know I love you, even if I have to work late at cabinet tomorrow,” while she replies “I don’t care, it still leaves me alone with three kids for supper?” Is the fact that he’s gazing into her ear and holding her hips into his own while she’s looking beyond him, at what’s coming, an accurate reflection of the dynamic of their relationship? Quite possibly. The camera has never frightened Justin or his wife, who worked as a correspondent for CTV, and as Mikhail Baryshnikov once said, the body never lies.

“We’ve been preparing for this for years,” Sophie said of the couple’s political career in a private interview with The Globe shortly before the election in October. “Once Justin decided to go on the political scene, all the spotlights were on him. I think we’ve done pretty well finding a balance and a centre. It can be very scrutinized. We see a lot of leaders and people in the public service and the political world reacting with fear, or intimidation, lack of respect for other human beings. I think not only Canada but the world as a whole is called upon to really choose leaders who can generate unity and compassion throughout the world. This is how you find peace, right? I think it starts from within. And Justin has that capacity to swim through crazy waters but keep his vision, keep calm. He doesn’t lose control. He analyzes. He opens up at that moment, whether it’s in the boxing ring and he’s getting shots, or whether it’s in the political ring, or in nature. His personality stays true to who he is, wherever he is. And I think that’s very reassuring.”

His weakness?

I asked a question.

And I responded.....And that is exactly what a responsible leader should be doing..working on their campaign promises, geez, what the hell do you want?

It was dropped until you asked why I was lecturing you when all I did was respond to your comment where you asked, right?

You had to get a dig in at me by accusing me of lecturing.

No I asked a simple question. All you had to say was 'I'm not lecturing you.'

A question is not a dig. An answer is expected.

You asked me what I wanted and I responded that you just drop it.

I responded.

I asked where was the lecture?
And this was your totally irrelevant answer to me question..."A lecture is an educational talk and since I said I already knew that I asked the question."

And I answered your question. So what other question do you mean? You keep saying that you asked a question but I can't seem to find it?

Of course, as always, you want it dropped when your positions becomes untenable. biggrin 04

Guess everyone wants their own Trudashians
Is it cognitive dissonance? First a $7,000 brooch and now a $5,700 dress. The first couple of Canada are certainly a good looking couple, but style shots in high fashion - loaned or not - strikes an odd tone against the backdrop of a commodities crash, falling stocks, and unemployment. Not even a $25-$45/month middle class tax cut will buy or rent your average Canadian, working or not, an Oscar de la Renta anytime soon. With the bread of broken Liberal promises comes the fashion circus?

ROFL, I can hear those cat's claws on the chalkboard all the way from Canada to Texas. Further, those hoping for Trudeau's failure are counting their chicken's before they hatch...so far only one Liberal broken promise.

It's so funny the carping after only a month in office. Would it be better if he lived in a one-room shack wearing overalls?

Harper did. Well what I mean is Trudeau isn't in the same run down place as Harper was.

Well, the whole point of electing someone new is to do things differently. Why would Trudeau want to emulate Harper?

Some people resent beauty, brains , youth and class. The Trudeaus remind me of the Kennedys and I remember some of the cruel things said about them.
