Apparently we can’t stop tweeting it and looking at it. Its allure is surpassed only by our desire to figure out what the hell is going on.

Is he saying, “You know I love you, even if I have to work late at cabinet tomorrow,” while she replies “I don’t care, it still leaves me alone with three kids for supper?” Is the fact that he’s gazing into her ear and holding her hips into his own while she’s looking beyond him, at what’s coming, an accurate reflection of the dynamic of their relationship? Quite possibly. The camera has never frightened Justin or his wife, who worked as a correspondent for CTV, and as Mikhail Baryshnikov once said, the body never lies.

“We’ve been preparing for this for years,” Sophie said of the couple’s political career in a private interview with The Globe shortly before the election in October. “Once Justin decided to go on the political scene, all the spotlights were on him. I think we’ve done pretty well finding a balance and a centre. It can be very scrutinized. We see a lot of leaders and people in the public service and the political world reacting with fear, or intimidation, lack of respect for other human beings. I think not only Canada but the world as a whole is called upon to really choose leaders who can generate unity and compassion throughout the world. This is how you find peace, right? I think it starts from within. And Justin has that capacity to swim through crazy waters but keep his vision, keep calm. He doesn’t lose control. He analyzes. He opens up at that moment, whether it’s in the boxing ring and he’s getting shots, or whether it’s in the political ring, or in nature. His personality stays true to who he is, wherever he is. And I think that’s very reassuring.”

His weakness?

But you knew about it and it was done secretly and I am not the one bringing up stuff from ten years ago.

Campy, Bitsy had absolutely nothing to do with you being banned from American politics. Old news.
Yes I know David but I wasn't the one bringing up stuff from 10 years ago.

Quoting limited to 2 levels deep
But you knew you were misleading the board by pretending to be an all-knowing American posting in American poilitics., That does not establish much faith or trust in your posts, so maybe that is why is was done in secret to spare you the humiliation of being exposed.

Hey, you initiated the turn of events by this post. You should think before you post.

You have never been to Canada so all you have is what you read in the papers. You don't even have Canadian television .

You have a thing about Harper even though you don't have a dog in the hunt so to speak.

I wasn't misleading anyone for nefarious purposes.

I was invited here from another forum and kept my handle and I didn't and still don't trust the internet for security purposes as to my location.

The reason for not allowing me to post in American politics is because of not being able to handle a contrary opinion and preaching to the choir instead.

Check my profile as far as location goes. It hasn't changed in ten years.

Campy, that is absolutely wrong, but if it makes you feel better, then go for it. You really think any of the Americans here are worried about contrary opinions? We can hold our own with ANYONE. Now, we are way off the subject here. Does the new respectful Campy have a life-span of only one day? I'm very disappointed if you keep trying to start trouble. This has nothing to do with Vogue’s photo of Justin and Sophie

Then why didn't you admit that you weren't an American when first asked?

Canada is a huge country, it was not necessary to reveal your city/province. The country was what was important.

That had nothing to do with me, I keep telling you.

What is the relevance in that? Why would anyone change their profile here?

Security purposes Bitsy. I have explained. I didn't trust the internet and kept my location secret since day one.

I thought I was among friends seeing my relationship in the past and dealing withand living inthe U.S. for business purposes.

I worked for a company and was an importer and exporter.

I thought I was among friends. A huge mistake considering events that followed.

But I was new to the game and had a lot to learn about people.

I'm not starting any trouble.

I'm answering questions and not discussing a poster.

At that time if you will recall there was definitely attempts to have me banned.

Otherwise I should have not been banned from the politics forum if you can handle a contrary opinion.

You are now discussing a poster. Something you said you would not do.

That's your opinion Bitsy and you are entitled to it.

I answered your questions about events that took place tenyears ago to the best of my recollection.

I'm not about to go searching through the archives from ten years ago.

You've got to be kidding. "The Poster" is so far off topic here, that he's practically in Cleveland. It's obvious that "the poster" cannot act like a regular forum member and that "the poster" just HAS to start trouble. I knew it wouldn't last. We deal in contrary opinions all day long here. That's what the forum is all about, an exchange of opinions. Contrary opinions are the heart of all the fun of political discussions. I don't have time for this nonsense today so I'm outta here.

Off topic or not should not make any difference.

Topics often go astray.

We have a 'fail'.

Just about every thread on this forum is ALL ABOUT CAMPY.

Wonder what others who read this think - I have no problem imagining.

Are we trying to get this forum closed down out of boredom?

Just asking?

As long as we are off topic, what bad thing would happen if someone knew what city you live in?

You know what I think Fuzzy O.

It's none of anyone's business what city I live in or even what country I live in.

Just have your posters stick to the topic even though it might be off topic instead of the poster making it.

I have my own personal reason because I have been in forums that were hacked and personal information was obtained.

And that's why I no longer use internet banking.

We had a long discussion on this forum a long time ago about off topic coming up.

The consensus was as I remember that the members didn't think it was a problem and some even welcomed it as a break.

There is no reason for you to search, you misrepresented yourself but if you require evidence of that, I will be happy to post it here for all to see. Is that what you want?
