In sink dish dryer

Just picked one up from Walmart. It's stainless steel.

For those that wash dishes by hand and don't have a dishwasher.

For me the rinsing part is the most important for getting the dishes sparkling clean. You need real hot water.

So this in sink dryer fits in one of the sinks.

So you wash your dishes on the other side, and stack them in the in sink dryer including the knives and forks.

Then you get your water really hot and set the spray on and give the dishes a good rinse. And because the water is hot, just leave them there to dry. I hate washing dishes but now, it's almost fun because they come out so sparkling clean. That's what I loved about my dishwasher, but my apartment doesn't have one.

If you have a lot, just move some up to the regular drying rack.

I am the sink dish dryer, but I don't complain since I hate being the sink dish washer even worse. laugh123 We have a dishwasher, but we wash the pots, pans, tupperware storage containers, and a few other items by hand.

Two people doing dishes is a lot more fun.

You can talk, discuss things, and the time goes by quickly.

Even a bit of hanky panky if the mood fits. LOL.

But single. ? Nah!

The only discussions we have doing dishes is me asking why we can't put these stupid containers in the dishwasher like everyone else, and her reply is something I can't post here. Hanky Panky while doing dishes ? My wife's back goes out just by putting the toilet seat back down. (whoops, that's another discussion) I think you've been watching the wrong type of movies. biggrin 04

Having a dishwasher and doing dishes by hand is like the Romano's covering their furniture with plastic.

All the house Reno and house hunter type of shows want a big, deep farm-style kitchen sink. That doesn't make any sense to me. Wash on one side and stack/rinse on the other.

They also want many other things I don't want. They must have the greatest kitchen and then they comment that they don't cook. I often wonder who cleans these house that many are wondering if they can afford.

When I have to hand wash dishes no one would want to be with me in the kitchen.

Back 2 apartments ago I had a small TV in the kitchen. It helped with cooking and dishwashing.

I thank God that Bob LIKES to wash dishes and WASH CLOTHES and pay recurring bills.
He leaves the investing, planning, plumbing, painting, storage, furniture arranging, heavy lifting, bug control, electricity and electronics to me.
I am fine with that balance.

I do what he cannot, and he does what I hate doing.
