Muzzled Scientists

I'm dissapointed.

After ten years of being 'muzzled', I thought Canadian scientists would come out with some Earth shattering news.

Instead. Nothing.

Seems to me all they wanted was hugs and kisses and Harper wasn't that kind of guy.

But Trudeau is. So now it seems they had nothing to say.

Now don't post about how tough they had it.

Give us some scientific news.

Two scientists in my family (in the US) say now they can talk to scientists in Canada and share information that helps both of them in their research.

How about them bananas, sharing information between scientists can have positive results for both.

Yeah. But they aren't saying anything which is my point.

They just want hugs and kisses.

They shared information before. By scientific journals and meetings.

And for one minute do you think they could not e mail or text or phone one another.

I'm looking for some Earth shattering discovery published in a newspaper that hasn't been published before.

Example:

And it appears in a newspaper theoretically.

A scientist working for Canada has stated that fish farms are dangerous and should be eliminated.

I know whois being muzzled now and it's not a scientist and it's someone you know. LOL.

I am just leery of all food since scientists have been muzzled, and I do not trust my food supply since scientists have been muzzled.

And, by far I am not the only one.

When the Harper regime was in power the Canadian scientists could not share what they found in their research with other scientists, now they talk.

Try to go past you emotional attachment to Harper and see the greater picture of all that muzzling implied, hiding the truth about fish farms etc. etc. etc.

Is it not important that scientists be allowed to share their work when they are working to find solutions for ALS, for Parkinsons, and for many of the medical problems we have?

Are you being muzzled that you cannot share your great information about who is being muzzled? Maybe it should be extended you think?

There were scientists who lost their jobs weren't there the funding was cut and then some lost their jobs for refusing to be shut up. Harper was anti information and education. He treated women as second class citizens.

I was kicked off CARP for daring to critize Harper.

If you accept the Queens silver, the Queen owns the fruit of your labour. This is usual in all cases of employment.
Bell Canada owned everything that I invented while in their employ.
In the employ of the government the taxpayer owns the rights.

Know well that the people who are muzzling scientists from revealing the risks to the food supply are the IDENTICAL people responsible for denial of man-made global warming. Until these dangerous and powerful people are emasculated, we are at their mercy.
The world should not be held hostage to their being able to make yet another buck, or a trillion.

Yes, Yes, Yes. But now that they are 'unmuzzled' (so they say). Let's hear about it.

Let's hear about the fish farms. So far. Nothing.

They just wanted selfies with Justin.

Trotsky you should know better. It's not the 'same scientiists".

And 97% of the scientists are not supporting the AGW theory.

That's another lie foisted on the unsuspecting, naive, public.

STOCKHOLM, 27 September - Human influence on the climate system is clear. This is evident in most regions of the globe, a new assessment by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes.
It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century. The evidence for this has grown, thanks to more and better observations, an improved understanding of the climate system response and improved climate models.

Quote:

In this IPCC assessment report, specific terms are used to indicate the assessed likelihood of an outcome or a result. For those terms used above:
virtually certain means 99–100% probability, extremely likely: 95–100%, very likely: 90–100%, likely: 66–100%.

https://www.ipcc.ch/news_and_events/docs/ar5/press_release_ar5_wgi_en.pdf

The IPCC is the world authority on climate change and they conclude that they are 95-100% sure that human influence is the dominant cause of global warming.

Camperama, you've got to be kidding with this. You rarely provide links. All the stuff you spew is your opinion. You telling someone to "back it up" is a damn joke.

We are not talking about inventions here, we are talking about sharing of findings, first between scientists who are doing similar research so they can benefit from each other and advance at a faster rate.

Then we are talking about sharing information about your work and your findings.

The government is not a corporation, it does not pay us, we give them money to distribute and we (amongst other things) pay the scientists.

The government does not own the scientists, they are just guardians of our money and we pay the scientists.

That David is simply not true. I have been on this forum for ten years and have refused to supply a link when requested exactly twice. ANYWAY I wasn't asking for a link. Just a backup of some sort personal experience reading it somewhere hearing it on the news etc. Just to blare something out willy nilly.
I don't do that in spite of your bias personal opinion.

Rarely supply a link? You are wrong. laugh123

If you can recall if you can avoid your extreme biased opinion and hate about Harper.

There was nothing preventing sharing of information between government scientists. They could not do their job without it. The only stipulation was to get permission before sharing it with the media.

The one being muzzled is me. I cannot comment in U.S. POLITICS.

It took me about two seconds to find this:

If anything, the San Bernardino bombing showed precisely how stupid the "no single men" policy is.
I would venture to say that males have a greater propensity for violence than women.

I would say that more men than women are in jail and for more dastardly crimes.

I don't have any stats or links, that's just my opinion.

You're always posting that you don't have a link and it's your opinion. laugh123
