The weather has been so mild this winter I cut some parsley last week and had been using green onion tops in salads up until a couple of weeks ago. The blanket flower was blooming until a week or two ago also and the lamium had a couple of little blooms.

Just before I left London I noticed that the chives and broadleaf parsley were growing also.

My swiss chard was still growing until the frosts of this weekend, I presume they are done for now, I am not at home so don't really know.

When winter suddenly arrives, I hope it doesn't kill off my favourite perennials and vines. Last year I lost my lovely white clematis but I suppose these things don't last forever.

Hey ! I lost a white clematis jap. last year too but lo and behold, it came back late in the season. I don't know what caused that.

Yes, still picking parsley for salad and also celery stalks until December. It's been down to -4 lately but I suppose the yard is protected enough to keep things going. It is an El Nino year and I keep wondering how long the mini flowered fuchsias I have in pots are going to last outside. So far, so good and the hummingbirds are still using them.
