In my apartment I have 24 pot lights. Over the years I purchased regular replacement bulbs from Costco, but last year they stopped stocking the size I require. The price was dirt cheap, and since I require light down here in any room I am in they did not last long. On Sunday I bought 6 LED bulbs at a cost of $64.99 so with tax $73.45 - $12.24 per bulb. Says they last for 22 years. Guess each month I will replace 6 and soon I will be all caught up. The light is so much sharper from the LED lights. Take care, Pat |

I finally gave up on my 5 Watt nightlights that needed monthly replacement (5/$1) at the dollar store. Once on they were fine til you turned them off and then poof went the filament. So I bought an LED nightlight (2 LEDs) for the unwindowed kitchen for $1. It is dimmer than the incandescent it replaces but I can still find my way to a glass and the fridge for a 3AM glass of icy water. So far so good...next, one for the bathroom for the 3AM pee. |
