Guess everyone wants their own Trudashians
|
We all know now that at an event to mark Martin Luther King, Sophie Gregoire broke into an impromptu musical number she wrote for her daughter. Partisanship aside, did no one advise her beforehand about protocol and so on. It wouldn't have been so bad had it been relevant (and please, don't try to spin it it that it was) or if she could actually carry a tune. The crowd was polite of course, what else could they do in the face of a huge faux pas, a 'song' that had nothing to do with civil rights etc. Most people are being very kind about it though, but she shouldn't give up her day job. Hold the flames please. |

Tony the Weasel will be pleased to know that he can't be called names anymore on WWS. |

Campy, it was not political name calling, nor commenting on the singing - you missed some unladylike behaviour, politically motivated hitting back at the innocent. I was embarrassed to be a Canadian on WWS. Maybe it was a little unfair - a man would probably have been banned. |

It would have been an embarrassment to WWS Canadians and all members had administration not responded immediately. |

Hey I thought Canadians were so polite. I would think personal attacks on a member are more in need of immediate response instead of a political figure. |

I thought so too until I encountered a few on WWS.
Well, you would think wrong in this case...let me repeat Delphi' words to you since you don't seem to comprehend. you missed some unladylike behaviour, politically motivated hitting back at the innocent. I was embarrassed to be a Canadian on WWS |

I comprehend alright. It's the hypocrisy I don't comprehend. Liberal targets are verboten. |
