Canadian conservatives were pleased to see 2015 come to an end. The year was marked by a disappointing election result and closed with the fawning reception of our new, young prime minister.

But time and distance brings fresh perspective, especially today, on the 10-year anniversary of the modern Conservative Party of Canada’s‎ first electoral win. Canadian conservatives have a solid foundation from which to build for the future. And for this we are indebted to the intellectual and political legacy of Stephen Harper.

His first electoral victory 10 years ago was far from a foregone conclusion. It required a positive vision and plan of action and Mr. Harper offered both. In so doing, he became the most important conservative in modern Canadian political history. His is not only a legacy that all conservatives can be proud of, but also a strong basis from which to continue the march

Who would expect anything less from the writers of this piece? :sign10:

Ken Boessenkool and Sean Speer are former senior advisors to the Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper and co-authors of the long-form essay “Ordered Liberty: How Harper’s Philosophy Transformed Canada for the Better.”

Hilarious derangement.
Hilarious Harper Derangement Syndrome which lives on and on. Beats discussing issues I suppose.

FSG, you don't discuss issues. You post link after link of opinion pieces that support your Sky-is-Falling political stance. It's almost comical.

FSG has to have something to hold on to, Dana. Constant and petty demeaning of Trudeau after two months in office is not having the desired effect here. A fluff piece about Harper written by his advisors is not going to help her case along.

A lot of posters on this forum resemble that remark.

In ten years on this forum I have never seen a dissenting remark.

It's called preaching to the choir.

I sure have and do, but I put forward pieces as a starting point for a discussion. No different to other people who post links but never comment If I posted a long opinion then there would be demands for links etc. etc.

Of course it's always been an echo chamber for the liberals, they start attacking because they don't like it when someone posts a dissenting opinion (about liberals). This is going to be fun fun fun. Will watch for opinions rather than links too.

When all else fails either use the Nazi mode or the Attack mode.

Two wagons leave lots of openings.

And. You should never, never, bring up other forums.
