I must look for that book.

Trotsky, my cats (2) mother and daughter, are both Ragdoll Cats.

Mouse,

Somewhere in the past, I cannot re-find the post, I said your cat is a Burmese. Bob found a beautiful cocktail table type book called THE CAT, lovely book.

Flipping through the pages I realized I misspoke. Your cat is a BIRMAN, with one proviso...she must have white socks.

Other than the feet this is a picture of my Isis. she has brown feet, and is a Burmese Siamese and has the longer fur.

O agate, she is sooooo beautiful. Thanks for posting the picture.

My cats have socks like this raggie (not the little bootie type) There is so many different kinds of ragdolls.

Trotsky, who is the author of that book? Did Bob buy it?

I was surprised to read that "ragdoll" is an actual breed name.

Mouse,
Author of The Encyclopedia of THE CAT was Michael Pollard, Paragon Publishing, Bath, UK.
We have a table by the mailboxes that people toss magazines and books on rather than into recycle bin. The book was on the table yesterday afternoon and Bob snagged it on his way home.

It is probably a very costly book so why not peruse it next time you are in a Barnes and Noble or try your library. The pictures are really beautiful.

(I like sharing books like that...but management keeps making a fuss about neatness. To Hell with them. laugh123 )
