The internet is full of information. Don't believe everything you read, do some research on everything before trying on your pet. You will find the answers. I don't think it is in this list, but apple cider vinegar is good. When I was a child, we didn't have vets or at least not in our town. We did things the natural way. I don't even remember seeing cat or dog food in the grocery store. http://www.treehugger.com/green-home/21-natural-home-remedies-pets.html I think I will go to the pet store and buy some mice to feed them. It would be a lot cheaper. 1089 1089 1089 ( laugh123 just Kding) |

Not what I got!!! I must have a filter working or something as I never get anything such as what you saw. A friend gets tons of smutty emails that I do not but theirs is a business email address.

In actual fact garlic is not all that bad for dogs. It is much as we say for humans "everything in moderation." http://www.petguide.com/health/dog/the-shocking-truth-about-dogs-and-garlic/ Take care, Pat |

Maybe it's a small dog thing. I would never take a chance using garlic on Roland who is a heavy weight at 6.5 lbs. http://www.smalldogplace.com/foods-toxic-to-dogs.html |

Yes, but Dana in your link you will notice garlic is one of those controversial foods. While I do not many use it as a deterrent to fleas. Do not have a clue if it works. I have never given a dog garlic, but if they get some steak on their kibble that was cooked with garlic or garlic salt on it, it has never hurt them. And while grapes are toxic, years ago when I knew no better our dogs shared the odd grape, and when Kim was a kid she definitely shared her chocolate bars with whatever dog we had. Take care, Pat |

Becky used to love catching grapes until I learned that they are bad for dogs. My vet said that onion and garlic used in cooking, in soups or stews for instance, are OK. |
