Today Ruckus was sitting on the kitchen windowsill and began twitching his tail and murmuring. I looked out and saw a huge groundhog across the street. It was the size of a 3 year old. You must understand that we are now living in a town house so it is just rows of houses attached together. Across the street we see the 'backyards' of the houses facing a main street. The groundhog saw a cat coming toward it and squeezed under the fence into the next yard. I watched for awhile longer but it never reappeared. I'm quite used to seeing groundhogs at my former home but I was utterly flabbergasted to see one here. I wasn't happy because it was out of place and could possibly be attacked by human or animal. It might be able to protect itself from some for a time but they'd get it eventually. Fly away, little groundhog, fly, fly away! :angelwand: |
