The Canada vs Denmark final game was very exciting, tied at 3 to 3 for 3 ends as Canada blanked to keep the last rock advantage to the 9th end. In the ninth end, Denmark's skip tried a very difficult double raise takeout that failed by half an inch Canada's third, allowing Canada to score 2. In the last end, Mark Kennedy made an amazing double takeout to pretty much end Denmark's chances. Then the Denmark skip made a wonderful draw to half an inch in front of a Canadian rock to get shot rock. Koe, Canada's skip, reportedly is the master at dealing with this situation. He fired a fast takeout shot that caught less than an inch of the Danish rock and peeled it out, amazingly leaving the Canadian rock half an inch ahead of it to count.

Delphi, your description is better than watching the end on tv. I didn't know enough to appreciate the finesse involved.

Way to go, men's team.

Thanks, Shorty. I wish my memory was better.
I find the commentary and parts of the pro games very difficult to follow, too. Their ability is so far above amateur play that their tactics are quite different.
