FYI, wWe upgraded our appliances in a kichen reno a couple years ago and, last January, the expensive Electrolux induction range top gave up the ghost.

We figure, considering our absences due to travel and the delay in installing the appliance, we used maybe 11 of the 24 months warranty.

We have been through three cook-top replacements so far. Just hoping this latest installation will last!

Electrolux have promised to reimburse us for parts so far. We are still waiting for that. Fingers crossed.

My wife absolutely loves the induction stove method. Here's hoping we can continue to use it without trouble!

I swear, if it were still possible to find them, I would opt for a gas stove with a PILOT light. No electricity needed. Nothing to break.
The only reason people got RID of them was because they got sick of looking at them for 50 years.

Electronic controls are wonderful until they AREN'T.
