Good grief Charlie Brown... what's next.. Do they really believe wrist bands will stop sexual assault.. it won't if it's a mind set that women are there for the taking. https://www.rt.com/news/349142-sweden-wristband-sexual-assault/ Swedish police have revealed that they will offer young women wristbands with the slogan “POLICEAVSPÄRRAT #tafsainte” [Police cordon, don’t grope] in Swedish, to prevent sexual assaults. No one should have to accept sexual molestation. So do not grope. And if you are groped, report it to the police,” Police Chief Dan Eliasson said, according to the press release. He added that the main goal of the step is to “draw attention to the issue [of sexual assault], and urge those affected to report.” “We’re hoping mainly that this will get boys to think twice. A lot of them don’t seem to realize that this is a crime,” Eliasson told news agency TT. |

They are not saying that they think wearing a wristband will stop sexual assaults. The campaign may go some way to counter the mindset "that women are there for the taking." |

I doubt if the gropers can read Swedish and most Swedes must already know that groping is a no no. |

I don't think those wristbands are going to do much against the epidemic of assaults or stop the mass assaults including this one in Sweden. Not to mention they are still downplaying the issue http://www.spectator.co.uk/2016/01/its-not-only-germany-that-covers-up-mass-sex-attacks-by-migrant-men-swedens-record-is-shameful/ http://www.news.com.au/finance/economy/world-economy/cologne-is-every-day-europes-rape-epidemic/news-story/e2e618e17ad4400b5ed65045e65e141d Authorities across the country have been accused of downplaying the true extent of the problem by suppressing information about migrant-related crimes, ostensibly due to a “lack of public interest”. |
