A friend sent me this link from the UK and I hope it all pastes in. One is about the cats at 10 Downing Street Try the link. The big news story here has been the fighting amongst the residents of Downing street. One journalist got injured trying to break up a fight and armed police have been involved. No it is not a fight between the Prime Minister and the Foreign Office Minister but rather between their cats (see http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/08/02/cat-wars-downing-street-upheaval-has-sparked-larry-and-palmersto/). The speculation at the moment is what is going to happen when the Treasurer cat Gladstone moves in. |

Speaking of cats. Is anyone watching MY CAT FROM HELL on the Animal Planet Network? Sort of Dog Whisperer but with Felines doing the whispering, or rather hissing and spitting. I like the cats but the training techniques seem a bit shoddy. (Having had cats I know firsthand how well they can be "trained." I think the cats do the training and the owners get trained.) So true. We were watching an old episode of Frasier and Niles got a dog (after his separation from Maris). He would tell the dog to sit, he would look at the dog, the dog did not sit. Niles would then say...ok in a high pitched voice. I understood because that's the way I train my cats. Me.." get off the bed." Cat...yawn. Me, ... ok I'll just sleep on this side, ok?. Cat... yawns. |
