Posts: 838 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: June 12, 2007	I was talking to the guy at our local Taco Time (a fast food place in the US I don't know if it's anywhere else though) and I saw that his arm was all bandaged up so I asked him what happened he laughed and told me that he had gone over to his girl friends house to meet the family and her sister asked them if he'd like to hold their scarlet macaw he said yes and as soon as she got him out he flew over and bit him! He had to go to the hospital and get stitches. What a nice romantic evening he had LOL! I guess parrots are one of those personable pets who only like one person or one family. That is a good sign though it means that they are loyal animals.

The Reaper is Here Posts: 307 Group: Co-Admin Member #6 Joined: June 15, 2007	not really they can be very socable or can only like one person it really depends on the parrot but that guy from the fastfood place was unlucky macaws are very powerful biters and they could take a finger of easliy there not the type of parrot you want to be antisocial i think that parrot should be given some behavioul traing to make it more socail or it could really hurt some one
