There's no messin' with this Fox! Posts: 838 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: June 12, 2007	If you've already found your dds file you'll want to copy it to your desktop then open DXTBMP and click File then open then you want to click the down arrow on your drop box and click on desktop if you don't see your skin go to the drop box on the bottm click the down arrow and click DDS texture and it should come up then look for preffrences at the top and do the same to choose your editor your editor will be the program you use to skin such as adobe photo shop CS or MS paint or Microsoft picture it primium 10 then click on image and go to send to editor and it'll send it to you editor after you are done recoloring you skin save it to you desktop and open DXPBMP again open you pic by changeing the bottom drop box fro DDS texture to advanced BITMAP then open you recolored skin click on file hover your cursor over save as and then it'll come out with a box click save as DDS texture and you done! then PL can instruct you on coding it in!

(Did ya hear? Jarhead's doing a cougar too! Don don don) Though, however, I have to re-do the cougar cause it got deletd, again. Oh well. When I'm done, I might finish the BC (I think that got deleted too!! Grr) And when I'm done, I'll make......a Tibetan Fox!!

I figured out why I couldn't find them earlier: I was looking the z-tac instead of the ZT2 folder!! Lol, I know, that was stupid! However, my brother changed the settings on my profile on my dad's laptop, so I can't open the skins with dxtbmp! Grr..... I asked him he could change it. Don't know if he did caus he's on that computer right now. On topic, I will have the cougar done in about 1-2-3 days. I just need to get a good look at a cougar!

What model should we use for the fox? Fennec Fox or the Ethiopian Wolf? My best bet would to use the fennec fox and mesh the ears. I'll try to mesh but my bro has to fix the computer in order to use nifskope.

But maybe if I mess around with nifskope, meshing will be familiar to me. Uh oh, I'm stuck. When I tried to open the skin with dxtbmp, it said "Cannot open file with dxtbmp because the file is invalid". Help? EDIT: Never mind, it's fixed!!
