Hello ppl! I'm back and rolling; I guess it's time i woke up and did some work in this section after a hard time banging my head on books and papers. SOOOOO, let's begin with the Card Of The Week. This time; it's gonna be the smexy Vampire Lord! Original Name: Vampire Lord English Name: Vampire Lord Rarity: Secret Rare (DCR-000), Ultra Rare Promo (RDS - ENSE4), Common Card Level: 5 Attribute: Dark Type: Zombie ATT/DEF: 2000/1500 Effect: Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap). Your opponent selects 1 card of that type from his/her Deck and sends it to the Graveyard. Also, when this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by you opponent’s card effect, it is Special Summoned to the field during your next Standby Phase. Image : ![]() ------------------------ Advantages: This blonde guy is one of the most deadliest monster you can ever face; what makes him so perilous is his effect and how easy he can pop out of nowhere, especially in a Zombie Deck. First thing in his effect is that you can just laugh by seeing ur opponent worrying WHAT card he is going to take out from the deck. By declaring one type of card (Spell, Trap or Monster), you opponent got to kiss goodbye to a card and stash it in the graveyard, which could possibly be needing to win him the game. Well, tough luck; it just got wasted. Second thing about his effect that this guy can come and haunt the field again during your standby phase. If he is killed during the battle phase, this won't happen, but alot of players would play some spell, trap or monster effect to get rid of him. This is perfectly what makes him harder to get rid of; if he is destroyed by a Ring of Desctruction, Lightning Vortex or other cards that involves killing him, don't expect him to sit quietly in the graveyard. What makes him deadly also, is that in a Zombie Deck he can just come out by pacing from the deck to you field if a Pyramid Turtle got slain. Also, he can get revived easily by a Book Of Life, which doesn't only mean that he's coming out again but it also means that you are one monster short from your graveyard! Imagine; your opponent has a powerful monster in his graveyard, and suddenly he got out of play and cannot be possibly revived. Lovely ain't it? ------------------------ Disadvantages: What makes this guy a bit weak is his attack. 2000 attack isn't alot for a 5-stared monster nowadays, so he can easily be overcomed by a more powerful monster. That means, his revival effect won't work, and teh vampire is dead. ------------------------ Traditional Format: 8/10 Limited Format: 9/10 Zombie Deck: 10/10 Dark Deck: 8/10 Other Decks: 6/10 ____________________________________________________________________ |
