Welcome to Big Boards. Big Boards at one time offered the Zathyus network our long famous Resource Archives, our extensive search indexes, and our info-packed resource forums. Eventually, these were made redundant by upgrades to the documentations and expanded search features added to the ZetaBoards software, and this forum then lost relevancy and subsequently became inactive.

Our team then embarked on a new project called Planet Nexus, where a bold new experiment in forum promotion is taking place. We call it nexworking. NexusTree offers social networking pages for forums in a fully automated format. Your NexusTree page is created instantly when your join the nexus. Find out more by visiting Planet Nexus, and become part of the nexworking revolution.

I am determined to do something about my java programming this time. I am no good at it honestly and I would like to know where I can get someone to teach me on the net? Thanks!

I started a javascript class at The Coding Zone that was taught by Eureka there. I think it would have been a very good class, because he was not just giving javascript lessons/tutorials like you can get on online places such as 3schools and htmlgoodies.com . He was teaching it in a way so that you understood coding itself and the javascript would just be the language that you applied to it. I think is a very good approach, and even in the short time I participated, I learned quite a bit that helped me understand more about javascript than I had any inkling of in the past.

Unfortunately, something has happened and TCZ is no longer a viable forum, and hasn't yet been fixed. We were finishing up lesson 2 when the board died. I don't know if he is offering the course anywhere else. I've never gotten any communication about the class continuing somewhere else, but maybe someone else has heard something?

Anyway, if you can find a class Eureka is teaching, I would recommend it. iFusion also offered a javascript class in the fall last year. They may do that again at some point.

Can I haz a Gord?

Well Helena he was actually asking for Java, not JavaScript. ;)

But the last I heard about what was happening about that being fixed was today, it was going to get worked on and fixed but something came up... :'( I would recommend you to the Java tutorials on TheCodingZone, theking, but they aren't viewable yet. :(
Mike is my coding brother.

I've been trying to get onto TCZ lately, but only been able to view the main page before getting bugs :( Great to hear it's being fixed and will be up and running 100% soon. :D

Thanks Helena and Slayer for the recommendation. I had visited TCZ a few times in the past but never actually looked through what they had to offer. :(
