Well then, lets get this started shall we?
1. Some advice for the new users in Zhyper:
As a new user, you are most likely unknown and no one will personally care for you. So the best thing you could do for yourself is to make a good impression, trust me, it makes things ALOT easier having friends instead of enemies (unless those enemies choose you -.-). Most people would suggest getting Plvled (Power Leveled) from higher users to around level 50 at least. I wouldn't suggest such a thing though, it is long and tiring to level yourself but it makes the accomplishments all worth while. Not only that, but you wont have to worry about weapon/magic/skill. But if you do go for that way, then here are some suggestions for you to take.....do NOT spam anyone to get someone to plvl you. It never works, also NEVER demand a party. That shows how ignorant you are, and bugs the crap out of me personally, I'm sure it goes for others also. There is nothing so important about you that you can demand people to do things for you. Use full respect for the users that can plvl you, it goes ALONG way to ask nicely 'please lvl me *enter users name here 0.o*'. If you just go around bugging people to help you, chances are your name will be spread as an annoying person to either kill on sight, or to ignore completely. Just show respect and things may go far smoother than you could imagine.
2. Some easy tips to follow to show respect as newer users:
As I already stated, you are a new users and it's highly likely that people don't know you and wont care on a personal level. So making good impressions by showing respect can make you life (and many others) far easier to live. When asking another user for advice, use kind respectful words, instead of demanding information and calling people out and expecting a good response. Also I would like to suggest NOT to use 'mam' or 'sir' by judging their characters sex's. I have an elf, why, I have no clue 0.o but I do and I know I'm not the only one to have opposite sex's with characters). I don't personally take that offensive but some people do, and others would just want to cause a problem so don't give them the chance to 0.o Also try spelling out all your words when you talk with someone for the first time (making your first impression), it will show you actually care some bit and are willing to make friends instead of being a pain and want to cause problems. I don't mind shortening you typing when talking to friends, but when meeting people for first time, it goes far to spell things out. It is really easy to show respect, just try to use some common sense. These are only simple suggestions to add to and hopefully get some motivation for the newer users.
3. Some easy tips to follow to show respect as older players (I'm sure this part of the list will be the most flamed -.- mainly because people will think they are greater for their age and assume they are a better person):
To first start with, you are no better a person than a newer players just because you are a higher level. What makes people seem better than another is how you act. If you are a complete fool and bully people for no reason at all, it shows you no more of a better player than a 3 year old playing with their sibling. This part would more than likely be a reminder to you older players, as you have been around long enough to know what respect is. But what seems to me as the most problematic confrontation between older and newer users is the slang of noob. It's rather a simple list of words that can mean many things:
Noob- A new player to a game that simply just causes problems with spamming, flaming, yelling and/or being a real pain in the rear end.
Newb- A new player to a game (mostly a slang used in video games). Mostly famous for not knowing the setup of the new game he/she is now playing and gets lost a lot.
n00b- An older player that just likes to be a real pain causing problems by yelling at newb players for no real reason at all. Also causing problem to pretty much all players around any game. Still a noob just a different spelling.
P.S. Those definitions are only ones I believe fit the names as shown, by how they are mostly used amongst players around the net.
4. Some problems that can occur from disrespect, and some rewards that can come from showing respect:
Well I believe it's rather obvious what could happen when you are being a real pain and expect good things out of it, but it just seems to need to be repeated. For the most problems newer players can mainly result in being pked, but this is overall a problem that can affect the economy of whichever one you belong to while you are acting in it. If you cause issues then it will spread and people will remember, they WILL hate you and then want revenge. Which then will create even more hate and problems amongst most likely people you don't and/or won't ever know, but you can be sure it's your fault. Not only if you show you act that way to the newer players, they will catch on and then do the same which makes a rather annoying cycle. And when newer players (for the most part) act like real pains then it makes all newbs look bad and gives them a bad reputation. Not all newbs are complete idiots and want to be cause problems; please Plvlers try and remember that.
Some rewards to showing respect are getting it in return, makes things move faster, smoother, and looks better. When you show respect people will show it back and then possibly reward you in some way, either its friendship, help with other problematic users, possibly free items, possibly free money, and greatest of all, a good name and reputation on your hands. The world revolves a lot faster when people learn to keep their hands to themselves and months shut if they have nothing good to add to a conversation.
Well I'm sure I'm hated by everyone that read this by now, but whatever, as long as I know I tried to make a SLIGHT difference. Better than nothing. At least just try and remember, showing some simple respect, can get you a lot farther than not showing it. It's simple logic, just try to think a bit.
