| Welcome to Big Boards. Big Boards at one time offered the Zathyus network our long famous Resource Archives, our extensive search indexes, and our info-packed resource forums. Eventually, these were made redundant by upgrades to the documentations and expanded search features added to the ZetaBoards software, and this forum then lost relevancy and subsequently became inactive. Our team then embarked on a new project called Planet Nexus, where a bold new experiment in forum promotion is taking place. We call it nexworking. NexusTree offers social networking pages for forums in a fully automated format. Your NexusTree page is created instantly when your join the nexus. Find out more by visiting Planet Nexus, and become part of the nexworking revolution. ![]() If you're already a member please log in to your account for additional access: |

thanks Slayer... and, cool... you just wait though... I've got a decent theory on making $_POST work... Edit: I voted for Slayer's code... Justing, your code rocks and all, but, it doesn't entirely work... I'd suggest, instead of using the FOR Statement, and the getElementsByTagName(); function, use this to grab the document body...
then, just do something like this to replace the objects...
that would work better... just thought that you ought to know... I saw the not all of the · 's were gone... it was a nice code though... I thought that it was better than mine, lol...

Everyone is welcome to vote. But I think some people don't vote because they don't understand the codes, or feel like they are not qualified to tell which code is better. Please know that it is perfectly fine to vote for a code because you like what it does or because you think it is the most useful. |

yeah people, vote for Slayer, he far better than me at coding, lol... (no, seriously, he way better...like, at least 50x... )Edit: ok, that came out kind of wrong...I meant it as a kind of joke, lol... vote for whomever... you guys are actually better at judging a codes performance than we coders are, kind of... as we look for slight flaws that MIGHT hurt performance, while you guys are able to give us a straight "Good","Great","FRIGGIN SWEET!!!" answer, lol... |

Hit me with it and I'll help you if you want, just PM me. Helena, I knew that everyone could vote, I was just saying that it seems like the coders are the only ones that vote, so yeah if you don't know what a code does just ask, we would love to tell you. Even though when you click on the link to the post where the code was posted it gives you all the info of the code.

I don't even know what a Transcendant Library is
Justin got my vote, it's a cool code and very versatile from what i can see, which admittedly isn't much

Slayer: ok, I'll PM you about it... Nicolas: that's just the name of the code...it's a JavaScript Library...in coding, a library is really just a bunch of functions...like, how in a real library, you have all those books...well, these functions are like those books...my library, however, will be pushed more towards making PHP communications and JavaScript security a lot easier...also, about making JavaScript to work like some of PHP can...like my $_GET, that's in PHP...if I'm able to get my $_POST working, then, in theory, I might be able to work up to where I can nearly replace PHP with JavaScript...not the best idea ever, no, but, it's kind of neat to think about that possibility...if you don't understand any of what I just said, just put it this way, ok...it's just a way to make coding a lot easier... |
