both types of dubbing have their weaknesses. For the mainstream Western audience, the main problem with watching untranslated stuff is that you may not understand it. So companies try their best to make the series watchable. Some are good, some are bad, some are dreadful... I prefer watching LH subbed, because you get the Japanese soundtrack and dub, but you can follow (sorta) what's going on, even when readin the Americanised subtitles... |
