Roy... now I shed a tear when he retired >< he was one cracking tender... I can't think of many better all round goalies than him. Hasek ran him close though, and Brodeur's my favourite current keeper  nice hockey talk this... I expected nothing less from a native of Hockeytown

speak of the devil... i'm actaully listening to a game against the predators right now on the internet radio :)... coincidences... XD Add on 3/22/06: *sigh* the game ended with a shootout with the Predators winning... It was quite exciting though  Legace had some pretty crazy saves that game... too bad he couldn't do quite the same during the shootout, though. oh well... the wings have a big enough of a cushion to absorb the blow
ahhh yes... the Dominator that is what we called him when he played for Detroit...
Hasek was an amazing goaltender...and Brodeur... he's the Devils' goalie right? He's like the best in the league right now isn't he? (since Hasek and Roy are gone) hmm... most of my friends prefer watching basketball over hockey, so the talk is usually about the Pistons rather the Red Wings... so even though i come from Hockeytown, i don't get to talk about the NHL as mush i'd like....  but my two siblings are zealous Wings fans like me... so... i guess that makes it up but right now its March... which means March Madness... so most ppl talk about NCAA basketball and all the crazy upsets happening... too bad i'm not an avid basketball fan, though....

the only true March madness is the trade deadline... then April kicks in o_O that's chaos XD Brodeur I would class as best in the league, without question. He's grabbed a Cup, and it would have been a travesty if he'd never done that. Shame he hasn't always had the best of teams in front of him that he warrants. Hasek though... Hart Trophy? o_O not once but twice? and the Hart, Vezina and Jennings trophies all in the same year? Phenomenal, there's no other word for it. He has a contract with the Sens now, don't he? Correct me if I'm wrong. oh, and I'm not a fan of the shootout ending. it seems too much of a lottery. I always liked 'first goal wins or tied' OT. |

hmmm i thought he was retired... he's like 42... but i just looked up on Yahoo!... you're right... he plays for Ottawa... Even if that is the case as of the moment... Brodeur is probably better considering Hasek is over forty years old now... but overall careerwise i would argue that Hasek is the superior goal tender out of the two...and aboot shootouts... shootouts are kinda nice cuz they are quite tense..... but i actually prefer OT, too, however its the one where you keep playing untill someone wins no matter how may it takes then it's like an endurance race... plus you get to watch more

right? of course I'm right  I don't miss a trick, me Hasek is old, but still outstanding. Shootouts mean less hockey. Might mean more excitement for the fans, but I'm all for more hockey being played  so yeah, hockey's a favourite sport
