Apparently, the kid that played Harry got too spoiled and didn't want to do any more. Not only that, but the author of the books will not have anyone else play the part. Which sucks, because I kinda liked the movies.

The Harry Potter films sell so no matter what you see the rest of the books turned into movies within the next ten years.... .... beside who ever heard of Warner Brothers or any studio listening to the writer when it comes to making movies....

Whether they decide to react accordingly to what they've heard (even if it is shouted at the several times by desperate writers) is another matter entirely... <_<
