The plot from Sonic better in my opinion. The only human on that planet enslaving all those animals in robotic prisons for total world domanation. Gives it more realism than mario's tale of a lone human arrives to save the day for wierd uni-sex mushroom people and their world from a Godzilla wannbe. |

What I want to know is where did princess whats-her-face come from out of all these mushrooms? In the Sonic World your given reasons and answers to questions like where did Robotnik come from? What the princess's name? Why aren't other things fighting the baddies? |

Oy! lol.. this thread grew quite quickly ^_^. Ah well, i think mario is more revolutionary and groundbreaking that sonic. Mario set things up for sonic obviously, lol, sonic sure, did its things, but not as revolutionary as mario. And well, i always compared super mario world with all the sonics, and although i loved sonic 2, it never matched super mario wolrd in my oppinion. As far as the 3d games go, well.. Yeah but more will vote soon Cow.
 Selo, good stats proving your point. But I was surpized at the result. The word sonic is a normal word and used by at least 3 band I can think of. Not one who know much about him is the word mario a word for something else?  Beside in a straight up fight Sonic would have the little fat guy begging for mercy in less than a second. |

Yes hinarei a real fight. <_< Think about. Without those little block mario would dead at the beginning of the first level, anywhere else apart from his little, mario wouldn't last (heck the guy not even in great shape). Sonic on the other hand cand move at the speed of sound without breaking a sweat, no matter where he is. Beside the whole fight idea is pointless as all Sonic has to do is saw the little bugger in half. 5 seconds tops and the shortest fight in history. |

Nah, not really yang, actually if sonic touches mario (normal non ball shape and with no rings of course) he'll die lol. Its the same with mario, we can not really say who would win because id say something and then you something, endless word battle, thats why theres a poll :lol: |
