Oh Gawd it's awful. The mohawk used to be a symbol of independance and "Who the fuck are you? Get outta my face." Now it's like "Killer dude! Let's all get mohawks, skateboard, and listen to Simple Plan, 'cause they're straight punk, dude!" Jesus Christ it pisses me off.I'll be listening to Rise Against or NOFX or the Dead Kennedys and someone'll come along and be like "What you listening to?" and when they hear it it's like "Oh, you're listening to that fake stuff." And God help me when I try to explain ska. "Oh what's this? This sucks." WHY? 'Cause it's ORIGINAL? 'Cause he's NOT crying about some girl that left him because? Oh God. Anyway, that's just my two cents. As for who I hate....anything emo or on MTV. Eminem's about the only rap I listen to because his ideals are interesting and he doesn't sell an album based on a single song about a woman or "bitch" that, though the beat is different, is essentially the same in lyrical content to what was being rapped about 5 years ago. I cannot WAIT 'till rap dies.

And public enemy. Lars is evil. The Clash is older punk. Can't say I'm too much into the older stuff, excluding a few Sex Pistols song and almost all of The Ramones' songs. EDIT: Lars as in Lars Fredrickson or what the hell ever? I can't say I like Rancid too much. They're so-so. Op Ivy was great , tho. And...is Public Enemy really punk?
