I only say this because of Inuyasha. Sesshomaru in English dub sounds so bad ass but in japanese he sounds less intimidating and more gay. Now, I actually believe it has to do with what you started out with. You started watching something in Japanese, you dont want to switch to english and Visa Versa. Sesshomaru sounds gay in English. And the reason he would sound gay in Japanese is because you have no idea what he's saying. They way they put the emphasis on their words matters, too, not just how you hear them. Not to mention the fact that you don't speak Japanese, either. Your ears aren't trained to understand how he's saying things, just how they sound to you. Dyehard I hate you and I hate your face. Dubs are the only way to go. I hate your face, I hate your smell, I hate your hair, I hate your voice, I hate your avatar, I hate your signature, I hate your moderative position, I hate your bad grammar, I hate your mother, I hate your father, I hate your mother's father, I hate your cousins, I hate your friends, I hate your father's connection with the pigs, I hate your internet service, I hate your internet service provider, I hate your telivision service, and its providers, I hate your keyboard, I hate your computer, I hate your homosexual porn collection, I hate your house, I hate your city, I hate your county, I hate your state, I hate your region, I hate your timezone, and most importantly, I hate you. Now, please: THINK before you post, especially if what you're responding to is the initial post in a thread, a thread you have already posted in and passed up the opportunity to make a smart-ass remark about the OP in. God. As for dubs: No. That's all there is to it. English fucks it all up, and it sounds totally gay. I watch my stuff in original Japanese with subtitles. That's my opinion on the matter, and that's all that counts. Anyone who says otherwise is a moronic bigot, and should be stabbed in the throat, repeatedly, with a dirty spoon from a Chinese restaurant with a health-inspection rating lower than the turds my dog lays.
