I'm surprised this hasn't already become a topic. (maybe it has, but I'm too lazy to click over to page 2) Anyway: Has anyone been watching the Saturday night line-up? I have, and I must say I love it for all it's worth... Except for Inuyasha... that show blows. Anyone else been watchin'? |

actually it's got a pretty good lineup. Mainly I watch Paranoia Agent and Samurai Champloo on Saturday night. I get up at 5:00 each morning just for lupin 0_0 |
Hello, Peaches. We deliberated long and hard on this one. Well, hinarei and Silver deliberated, I just waited for the go-ahead to ban you. It's a shame you just couldn't catch on to the new rules. We'll miss you, Peaches, we truly will

*hinarei is missing out on a lot of good stuff* It's a very good line-up, considering all the other wonderful choices there are on cable. But maybe you've got satellite or something. I love it. Whoever you heard moanings about it from is either very different or was having buttsecks. Anyway, I say it's at least worth a watch.
A good friend of mine is like that, but he stays up. I dunno what you guys see in it. I mean, it's a pretty good show, but even Fujiko's bare breasts wouldn't get me up that early. I mean, not that I find them interesting or whatever, just, you know...
(What the hell kind of smilie is this? It looks like he's constepated, if that's how you spell it.)

Well, if Fujiko were real, then... sure!--------------------- THe episode they played this morning was the one where Lupin visits that palace with all the babes. :ph43r: For some reason, however, if I stop watching Lupin for a while, I always end up seeing this episode again. Well, whatever.--------------------- I can't believe they tanked the past two weeks. Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, and S-CRY-ed are excellent shows, but they all supposedly tanked. You see they removed Inuyasha though. I'm gonna be pissed if they take off all those good shows because no one will watch. These are actually the first shows I've watched for more than the first three weeks. (Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) |

I love the new stuff AS brought to their line up... Especially Champloo. One of the best shows ever! XD Paranoia Agent is kinda weird... A bit too slow moving for my tastes... But S-CRY-ed is cool. =P Sucks that they took InuYasha off... Did they permanantly? No new eps anymore? T___T And how could you not like IY? Its one of the best series ever! =P |

Yes, Champloo is very good, but it's annoying when people mistake it for Shampoo. To me, Paranoia Agent is great. It feels like an exploration of the human psychology. S-CRY-ed is very good as well.
I doubt seriously that that's all we'll see of the new InuYasha. They just got a bunch of new eps. They are not going to store them away that quickly. As for why...? Personally, I was never able to get into it because the plot was awfully predictable and that kind of plot is becoming awfully common. The "Anti-hero fights for good while staying fashionable" formula is, if not already, becoming the new trend. (*looks to Samurai Champloo, S-CRY-ed*) It was "valient good guy does good things", now it's this. Also, most of the people whom I ever talked to that actually like InuYasha were Yu-Gi-oh nerds, so I guess I kinda automatically labeled it "Strange" from the get-go. |

Ranma was fun... But I liked IY better. Sure, some of these storylines are a bit predictable... Everything seems to have a very similar common theme... But I just still like most of them. XD IY had a great plot, good likable (at least, for me) characters, and beautiful art. And awesome action and humor as well. Hehe... Samurai Shampoo. XD Lets make a Commercial! =Ž Paranoia Agent is really weird... I saw the first ep... Missed the next two, then caught it again last night. I am throughly confused... Some whole hallucinated RPG game quest thingie.. Can anyone fill me in? @_@ Its still cool though. It seems a little less boring than the first episode was. XD |

Li'l Slugger (that kid) went around beating people on the head for four episodes after they had a sort of psychological fit. It was pretty much considered random robbery, but they find out that he's basing the beatings off of a gamebook/ people he sees with red outlines. Basically the first three-quarters of the first four episodes was spent explaining the victim's life and whatnot, as every character attacked has some kind of mental issue in some form or another. A coincedence? Dunno. |
