So, is anyone else interested? I mean, The Offspring are like, the best band EVER. You know you loved Pretty Fly for A White Guy. You know you loved The Kids Aren't Alright. You know you loved Hit That. (Okay, maybe not.) But you KNOW you loved Come Out and Play (Gotta Keep 'Em Separated) and Self-Esteem. If you don't, may you be stricken by the powers that be with Class A genital herpes. :angry:

Anyway, I more-so meant they are best-ever in the classical sense. You know, like, no matter how many bands are made, none will be as original as The Offspring and certainly can not replace them. I mean, I've got CDs I'd listen to before the Offspring...but this is an Offspring forum so OFFSPRING ROCK YOUR GRANDMA! (Can you imagine that? Unless she's already dead, God bless her, or Buddha or whoever the hell you believe in.)(This is to ANYONE in GENERAL who reads this!) And how can you not like PFfaWG? And thirdly...I dunno. ...but if you truly love the Offspring, you'll buy it, right? I mean, I've got all the Korn CDs but I still bought Greatest Hits, even though it was almost every SONG FROM THE PREVIOUSLY RELEASED album. That annoyed me deeply.

But it got too old too quickly. I love Original Prankster and especially Kids Arent Alright. =P But... I dont think I'm enough of a fan to get their greatest hits album... I mean, those things are only for people who really havent heard much of them before... or too lazy to rip and burn a CD of their own personal favorite songs from the band before. XD

Americana was good. Splinter disappointed me terrible Smash and Americana. Best. Ever. Talk to anyone I'm good friends with and you will quickly learn: I-HATE-M-T-V. I-HATE-COMMERCIAL-MUSIC. But: I-LOVE-AMERICANA. As for Splinter, it's a sign of age. I've never heard anyone get better as they get older. Def Leppard's all the proof you need for that. Hit That is probably the best their gonna be able to do anymore. I always remember loving every Offspring song I heard, but that was shot to hell as I heard Baghdad. There's almost no real tune present in that entire song. I guess one reason I like the Offspring so much is the nostalgia when I play them.

That annoyed me deeply. which is why i didnt buy the korn's greatest hits.... what a waste of money.... same reason that i am not gonna buy the offspring's greatest hits..... i got all their songs already.. no need to waste my money on a cd that has nothing new. and even though i am an offspring fan.. i really dont like pretty fly ... that song just never really clicked... but kids arent right is a brilliant song ^^
