Yes, I managed to finish it before September! AnimeTronic 37- Wasteland Wow, been a really long time since my last comic. Took longer than it should have due to my lazy nature. Anyways, as you can see, this one has a new background, as well as two new, and detailed, chars. That's partly the reason It took so long. The mechs worked out pretty good, though I think the background isn't as cool as it could have been. A bigger problem I had was space. As you can see, a lot of panels look crowded. I'd have liked to fix this, but it would involve extending the panels, and that's a no. And again, the background blends in with the chars too much to my liking. Ah well, enough commenting, judge for yourselves. Enjoy. In addition, in case you weren't aware, the site was updated recently with a new layout, and a bunch of updates. |

It reminds me a good deal of it actually. I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. I hadn't either 'till I picked it up with a totally awesome mech game called "Shogo: Mobile Armor Division" in a dual-pack. The immediate similarities I noticed is that the you start off in a "Wasteland" called "Oasis" (which really is often called "Wasteland"). Your main job is to go around collecting junk scraps of metal from the desert (you don't actually do this in the game) and one of your buddies (the most tech-saavy one) has reddish Liberty Spikes and goggles that look awfully similar to one of your characters. It's not too bad a game. Probably not for everyone, but it's definately not bad. |

Whoa, interesting. Though, no one wears goggles >< The only game related thing in there is that the mech design is somewhat based off of the first boss in the game Einhander. |

If you're reffering to Glalien, those are glasses. Einhander is this shooter by Squaresoft. Not many people know of it. It's pretty cool. |

Hm... I don't tend to trust Square with any genre other than RPGs...and not even then, sometimes. >< I'll look into it, though. And goggles, glasses, same difference. The dude in the game may be wearing glasses, then. I can't remember. It's been a while. |

AnimeTronic 38- Locationator Reprise With this issue, the short Wasteland story comes to a close. Relatively, the humor is weak. It seemed funny when I wrote it, but now I'm not so sure. I'll let you judge for yourselves. This one was fairly easy to make, since the hard parts are already done. And since I didn't mention it last time, yes, some of the background buildings are also in the Skyline drawing. Enjoy. But, there is something special about this update. That's right, today marks the anniversary of the creation of AnimeTronic! On this day, a year ago, The Return was completed and displayed. Since then, there have been 38 comics [really more], two site moves, and a lot of forum threads. I'd like to thank my fans and supporters, here's to the [hopefully] many years ahead for the AT crew.
