Very nice. I'd like to know what program he used to develop it, though.

Hm... I've got 6.0. I'm assuming you had to place Su in there using the Magic Lasso? How did you do that so well if you did?

I use a soft touch brush and adjust the size accordingly. I also zoom in and out and cut out the background from the initial image. In this particular picture I used the polygonal lasso tool and smoothed out the rest with the brush. Their is no real trick to removing a background, just need some practice.

Hm... I don't see what you're saying. Could you possibly go more in depth?

so put your hands down my pants, and I bet you'll feel nuts

I usually just pasted the char, then got rid of the bg.

when you are extracting a picture from a background. You must utilize photoshop tools(or whatever program you are using) to remove that background. I take a soft touch brush which is just a brush(using the eraser tool which is located on your list of tools) with fade on the edges so your pixels come out looking smooth. The polygonal lasso tool is another good way to remove background you use that to make your selection then push ctr-c to cut out all of your selection.

This is the best advice I am going to give, if you don't know how to find tools then you are not experienced enough to be trying advanced things, you should go back to experimenting with stuff and learn the basics.

I used the magic eraser most of the time.

that won't work for colorful backgrounds. And alot of other scenerios such as your char has a color clothing that blends in with the background. The Magic wand and Magic eraser tools go by pixel similiarities. Say the char was wearing ared dress and her dress went over a red area on the background, it would erase her dress also.

You can set it so it only targets one specific shade of that color, so unless the character is exactly the same color as the background, it would work.

umm.... when CG pics get blended the colors don't stay the same pixel shade. They are all spread out between a block of pixels. You care to explain alittle about how you do that?
