He's being backed by a good 200 million in cash, and more if he needs it, so he has a fairly unlimited budget to make this movie. But with Weta at his side, he just can't fail, especially considering they won't work for anyone else, as it was Jackson who made them famous. Thats good... The country I've lived in for the majority of my life is making better movies than the Americans... Good for them ^-^

It actually makes me look around and see that most people I know couldn't care less about their country. But you guys are gonna have to admit it, you got owned by the LOTR movies. On the other hand, while they were great, they were just 3 movies. Tyroki, get over it Also, the concept of knowing what's going to happen after 10 minutes of watching unfortunately afflicts most movies from any country. You get some decent ones now and then, but for the most part, the vast majority of movies are predictable. But people keep paying to watch those movies, so why change a formula that still works?

I don't mind patriotism, but blatantly re-writing history (U-571 is one that springs to mind, for some reason) is another matter <_< Patriotism is frowned upon over here now. I hate that >< Why can't people be proud of their country? If you're not, ship off to a country that'll accept you, like Australia, they throw all the weirdoes there. No, they're fiercely patriotic too... hmmm... mind you, when it's just simple terms of red or blue, things are much simpler - leaving aside the usual question mark about light-ish red. :rolleyes: I don't want there to be a Halo movie unless it's entirely computer-generated, and even then we run the risk of the Pixar-isation of it ><

All about the passion of ones country on both sides in this one. That and.... Napalm chared flesh I agree with hinarei on this one tho. It would be better if Halo is computer generated. That's an opinion though. But its mine and thats what matters
