War isn't nescessary. If you mean to control the population, there are other means. If you mean that it only kills bad people, that's just false. |

This planet has too many people. In the past, war helped to thin out the herd, so to speak. Yet in the last 2 generations we have had no major war to do so. As a result, too many bloody people. What we need is for China and India to duke it out. That'll handle a good third of the planet's population right there

Dictators start wars? Generally, yes. And htey usually start it on others, who will, of course, need to engage in war to defend themselves. Starting a war is not neccessary, but finishing one sure is. |

 wish it wasn't human nature to start wars with each other all the time... I'll agree it has thinned the population somewhat too. Russia lost lots of people in the Second World War, for example... *shakes head* |

War is good to get the blood pumping, almost all of us in here are guys, so we need to let off some adrenline, and take our agruments out on each other and.....uh.....you know i got half way into this and then started to realize i didnt know what i was talking about.

There's the fuzzy we all know and love. Anyway, I never really found a purpose for war. But if given a sword, I could fight a whole army. May not win, but I'd have tons of fun trying. I don't know, I've always been fond of physical abuse toward myself; always a glutton for punishment, maybe that's why I keep getting myself into trouble on the net.
