They can be revived later on, it's easier than borthering with another thread. From experience, forums function the best with limited control over said issues.

I allow it in my forum, and things function smoothly for the most part. I'm not saying get rid of all the rules, just ease up on the ones regarding locking threads.

That get rather annoying when most of the characters are used by HTML rather than visible text itself. Silver's board has no set limit, and no one tends to go over-board with their sigs under that, so why not here?

As for the sig limit, well, I just left it at defaul til someone made a fuss about it. If you want the sig limit raised, I see no reason why not. This isn't a necessary excuse for hugely oversized signatures though, just allowing for some more code. Thanks for your opinion there, Silver. Sig limit changed.
